What information do I need to enter to pay with my credit card?

You must enter your Card Type - we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or JCB - your Card Number, Expiry Date, Card Holder's Full Name (as it appears on the card) and the Card Verification Code found here.

We allow you to enter set recharges value from about USD$5 to USD$50. The recharge value might increase once you become a trusted credit card user.

When your credit card transaction has been processed, your mig33 account will be credited immediately. The transaction will appear on your statement under the name of Global Collect, mig33's payment collection partner.

Why was my credit card transaction declined?

For security reasons we limit the number of transactions you can make over a given time period. If we track too many transactions we may temporarily deny the transaction to protect you from possible fraud. To avoid this occuring we suggest you select a higher amount to recharge so your account has sufficient credit. You can also try again at a later date or try an alternative payment method.

In certain cases we also must limit in-country transactions to credit cards issued within that country. To avoid running out of mig33 credits when you travel we suggest you recharge before leaving your home country.

What currency will the transaction be in?

Your transaction will be in USD unless noted below. When you recharge we will show you the approximate amount you will be charged in your local currency using the exchange rate at the time of the purchase.

Europe* - EUR

Hong Kong - HKD

UK - GBP

Singapore - SGD

Japan - JPY

All other countries - USD

* UK, Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine. French territories outside of Europe will also be charged in Euro.


Are there fees?

mig33 does not charge for credit card payments. We cover the credit card company fees for you (usually a few percent of the transaction cost). Your bank may even earn a nominal fee by using an exchange rate at a lower rate than the official rate. Please contact your card issuing bank for more information.


Can I receive a Merchant Discount when paying with credit card?

Yes. You can now receive a merchant discount when paying with credit or debit card. You need to send us $70 in a calendar month qualify for a discount.
